How many gardeners are there?
Kiftsgate
is a family owned and run garden helped by a team of two gardeners.

2. Do you offer guided tours of the garden?
Although
we are here to answer any questions you might have about the garden
we are unable to offer guided tours. The paths around the garden
are narrow and are not suitable for guiding visitors to the garden.
There is a beautifully photographed and presented brochure available
to buy which describes each area of the garden.

3. Do you sell plants?
Yes!
Plants are available for sale from the garden. Regrettably we are
unable to offer a mail order service for plants or seeds.

4. Are dogs allowed in the garden?
Dogs
are not welcome in the garden itself, although there is a large
area of lawn where dogs can be walked.

5. When is the best time to visit?
No
single time of the year is best as there is always something new
to see in the garden from the bluebells in May to the Kiftsgate
rose which flowers during July.

6. When does the Kiftsgate Rose flower?
The
Kiftsgate Rose is the largest rose in the United Kingdom and is
almost 60ft high. It flowers for about three weeks from the beginning
of July and it is a sight well worth seeing!

7. Are children welcome in the garden?
Of
course! As Kiftsgate is situated on a steep bank we do advise that
children are supervised while visiting the garden.

8. How long does it take to see the garden?
We
encourage visitors to make the most of their visit to Kiftsgate
and suggest that you set aside at least an hour and a half to appreciate
the garden. You are welcome to stay as long as you like up until
closing time!

9. How close is Kiftsgate to Hidcote?
Kiftsgate
is located opposite to Hidcote. A short 5 minute stroll is all it
takes to go between the gardens.

10. Can we bring a picnic?
Of
course! Although we do not allow picnics in the garden itself there
is a large lawn just outside the main garden which is perfect for
cucumber sandwiches.

11. Are coach parties welcome?
Yes.
There is parking available for coaches in our large car park. We
appreciate prior notice if you intend to arrive as a coach party.
